I would not recommend offroading in the least with the Hovertrax 2.0. No grass. No gravel. Even uneven sidewalk can be an issue. But, this is a problem with almost all hoverboards that is not unique to the Hovertrax 2.0. You want a smooth surface to be able to ride properly. Which one should you buy? Before you decide, read this article because we’ll discuss the pros and cons of both. 1. Hovertrax 2.0 Pros And Cons– First, Razor is an established brand, and they take quality serious, which means the Hovertrax 2.0 by Razor is durable and reliable. It’s scratch resistant too, and this is because it’s made with a polymer that is shatter-resistant. It’s not noisy, and it’s equipped with a detachable battery, which means you can ride it for hours on end. It’s easy to get on/off, and it’s easy to maneuver. Another pro is it has a max speed of 8-10 MPH, but this may not be fast in some people’s opinion. In other words, you may think of this as a con. As for any other cons, it cost around $400, but other than that, you can’t go wrong with buying the Hovertrax 2.0. 2. Swagtron T3 Pros And Cons– This hover-board can reach speeds of up to 8 mph and has a range of 7-12 miles, so you can use it to travel quite far. It looks great and features a durable shell, which protects it from getting scratched. There are numerous riding modes that offer different speed limits, and this includes a learning mode for beginners. It even has Bluetooth speakers, which means you can listen to music while you use it. It only takes about an hour to charge the T3. It can hold a lot of weight too, up to 220 pounds. It’s easy to control, and it’s newbie friendly. Although the Swagtron T3 is durable, reliable and easy to use, it is slower than the Hovertrax 2.0. It’s also slightly more expensive, as it’s priced at around $450. Other than that, there’s nothing bad that can be said about it. 3. Which One Should You Get– If you want a self-balancing scooter that is fast and one that has a detachable battery that allows you to use the scooter for longer periods of time, then buy the Hovertrax 2.0. However, if you want to listen to music via Bluetooth, then go for the Swagtron T3, which is only slightly slower than the Hovertrax. If a price is a concern for you, then you can choose the Hovertrax, but remember it is only slightly cheaper than the Swagtron T3. If it’s durability you’re after, then you can’t go wrong with either one, but in our opinion, the Hovertrax 2.0 is more durable than the T3, and as previously mentioned, it’s made with a polymer that is scratch resistant. As you can see, each product has its set of pros and cons, but both are worth buying. If you had to choose one, then you can’t go wrong with either one. Just take a look at the features each one has and then you can decide which one you want. Regardless which one you choose, the chances are you will love it and will use it for hours on end.
